CD15 is a carbohydrate adhesion molecule that can be found on glycoproteins, glycolipids, and proteoglycans. It plays a role in embryonic development, central nervous system development, adhesion, and axon guidance.åÊCD15 expression can be found on numerous tissues, including stomach epithelial cells, skin glands, and medulla.åÊExpression is upregulated in cancers such as breast carcinomas, bladder, colon, renal, and brain, and many others.åÊAnti-CD15-SAP could be used to study cancer therapies and cell adhesion.
Anti-CD15-SAP eliminates cells expressing human CD15. All other cells are left untouched.
